Basic Description of the Position –

Job Title: General Laborer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Construction Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures, including foundations, walls, and other concrete-related projects. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and setting of forms and molds for concrete pouring.
  • Pour, and spread concrete using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Operate hand and power tools such as trowels, floats, and concrete saws.
  • Level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
  • Assist with the installation of reinforcing material such as rebar.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform other construction-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate relevant hand and power tools.
  • Physical strength and endurance to perform labor-intensive tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate relevant hand and power tools.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination for handling tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 110 pounds.
