Detention Pond Walls
A concrete detention wall is designed to hold rain water temporarily. It will hold the storm water and slowly release it from the subdivision property. When it is not raining, the detention pond will often be dry.
Herbert Construction Co. is the concrete contractor when the pond needs a concrete wall to hold the rainwater. Our work can include an outlet control structure that manages the outflow of water.
We have noticed that developers are paying more attention to how that outflow of water is dissipated on the back side of the pond wall. This area, referred to as the level spreader will require us to construct concrete pedestals and short walls.
